Delivery Options

We make every effort to ensure our deliveries are made within the timeframes advertised but we cannot be held responsible for delays to your orders outside of our control, for example accidents, road closures or weather.

DPD next day delivery service - £7.05 +vat

3-5 Working day delivery - £3.95 on orders that weigh under 2kg, for over 2kg's then it's £4.95 (we use Royal Mail for this service and there is no VAT on this delivery charge).

We offer free 3-5 day delivery on orders over £40.00 (ex vat) and free next day delivery on orders over £65.00 (ex vat).

(Please note that we do not deliver to Guernsey or Jersey nor do we deliver to any Army bases).  If you choose and pay for an Express Delivery to anyone of these locations we will just automatically refund the order.

When you receive your delivery, please check it and if there is any sign of damage then you must state this when signing for it.


Delivery Times

Orders will not be posted on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays and out shut off time is 12.00pm.

PLEASE NOTE THAT EXPRESS DELIVERIES RECEIVED AFTER 12PM WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL THE NEXT WORKING DAY.


Undelivered Parcels

Where a parcel is returned to The Great Cake Warehouse because:

          * The address supplied is incorrect or incomplete;

          * The parcel is returned by our courier following an attempted delivery where you have not arranged re-delivery or collection;

          * You request a change of delivery address after the parcel has been sent

A charge of £8.25 will be charged to re-send the parcel.

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU PUT A WRONG POSTCODE OR HOUSE NUMBER OR ANY OTHER DETAILS ARE WRONG, WE ARE UNABLE TO HAVE YOUR PARCEL RE-DIRECTED. IT WILL BE RETURNED TO US AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED ANOTHER DELIVERY CHARGE TO HAVE IT RE-SENT.


Refunds

If you have ordered something in error then you are able to send the products back to us (at your own cost) for a refund providing the goods are received back in a re-saleable condition. We cannot accept returns of any edibles.  If your parcel arrives damaged, then please send us proof of damages via email (photos are required) and we can then sort out a refund for the damages.
