CHANGES TO OUR DELIVERY CHARGES (Correct as of 5th October 2021)
With ever increasing costs to pretty much all of the services we are using, we have been notified today of quite a hefty increase from our couriers DPD.
This increase now includes extra charges that we've not had to pay for before (eg HGV driver surcharges) and this means that we are no longer able to offer delivery for less than £5.95. It also means that we've had to increase the free delivery threshold from £85.00 to £100.00, this is with immediate effect from the date above.
We have a live payment gateway on the website. Our prices on the website are exclusive of VAT.
We offer a 1-2 Day delivery service, any orders placed after 1pm will not be processed until the next working day.
Deliveries are as follows:
1-2 Day Delivery - England, Scotland*, Wales, Isle of Wight - £5.95 + VAT
*Excludes Scottish Highlands & Islands with the following postcodes:
AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50, HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3,BT,JE,GY.
Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Scilly Isles - £8.50 + VAT up to 30kg gross weight per parcel.
This is a 2-5 day delivery service.
(Please note that we do not deliver to Guernsey or Jersey nor do we deliver to any Army bases). If you choose and pay for an Express Delivery to anyone of these locations we will just automatically refund the order.
When you receive your delivery, please check it and if there is any sign of damage then you must state this when signing for it.
Orders will not be posted on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holidays.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EXPRESS DELIVERIES RECEIVED AFTER 1PM WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL THE NEXT WORKING DAY.
Where a parcel is returned to The Great Cake Warehouse because:
* The address supplied is incorrect or incomplete;
* The parcel is returned by our courier following an attempted delivery where you have not arranged re-delivery or collection;
* You request a change of delivery address after the parcel has been sent
A charge of £8.25 will be charged to re-send the parcel.

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU PUT A WRONG POSTCODE OR HOUSE NUMBER OR ANY OTHER DETAILS ARE WRONG, WE ARE UNABLE TO HAVE YOUR PARCEL RE-DIRECTED. IT WILL BE RETURNED TO US AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED ANOTHER DELIVERY CHARGE TO HAVE IT RE-SENT.
If you have ordered something in error then you are able to send the products back to us (at your own cost) for a refund providing the goods are received back in a re-saleable condition. We cannot accept returns of any edibles. If your parcel arrives damaged, then please send us proof of damages via email (photos are required) and we can then sort out a refund for the damages.
